ClanRam Fantasy Football 2007 - NO VACANCY

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages - come one, come all, to the new and improved 2007 ClanRam Fantasy Football League!

This year's league features three conferences (Blue, White, and Gold) with ten teams each. Those conferences will have separate drafts and the winning team from each will meet in the championship to determine the winner of the 2007 ClanRam Cup.

Two steps to join up:

1. PM me with your
a. Email address
b. Team name
c. Team password, and
d. Preferred conference - Blue, White, or Gold

2. Watch your email inbox for an invitation. Click on the "EDIT TEAM INFO" link to activate your team. All the information above can be changed once you're logged into your team, and you can also add things like a team picture, coach picture, team quote, etc.

Draft dates are as follows:

Gold: Saturday, August 25
White: Sunday, August 26
Blue: Sunday, September 2

These are not set in stone and we can work out a date & time that fits best for everyone.

There will be 15 rounds. You can draft up to 6 players at each position, but must start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF per week.

You can make an unlimited number of transactions per week. A player that is dropped will be on waiver wires for 24 hours. Teams with the worst record will have first dibs on any waived player.

Point system

QB, RB, WR, TE
3 points per Passing TD
6 pts. per Rushing TD
6 pts. per Receiving TD
1 pt. per 25 Passing Yards
1 pt. per 10 Rushing Yds.
1 pt. per 10 Receiving Yds.

Kicker
3 pts. per Field Goal
1 pt. per Extra Point

Defense
Points allowed:
0: 12 pts.
2-6: 9 pts.
7-13: 6 pts.
14-20: 3 pts.
(Note - these are strictly defensive points allowed, so if, for instance, you have the Bears D, and Rex Grossman throws an interception that's returned for a TD, those points won't count against your total)

1 pt. per Sack
1 pt. per Interception
6 pts. per Kick, Fumble, or Interception return TD

Yep, the drafts are live - there is no set time that the draft begins, it only starts once the first pick is made. If the person with the first pick shows up on time, it should all go smoothly. There is a time limit of 2 minutes per pick, so once that runs out, the computer will automatically make the pick for your team based on your player rankings, which you can edit beforehand.

I paid for a league through FanStar so that we could fit all 30 teams into one league on one website to keep things simple. There are also many other options available that most free sites don't have, such as uploading a custom team logo/pic, coach picture (mine shows Bo Pelini, my favorite coach in all of football), a very user-friendly league homepage, detailed stats, and more, so I encourage everyone to take advantage of these extra features.

The ClanRam league has only been open for 24 hours, and 11 teams are already signed up and ready to go. Spots are being taken quickly, so sign up now or forever hold your peace!

I can't wait for the e-mail/league invite.........hurry up please........I've checked my e-mail about 15 times.......and yes I hope we do the football pool again.......I know it's alot of work and time consuming for who ever keeps the stats.....but that just added to exictement last year....even when we had bad game days.....at least we had something secondary to look forward to............I topped off at 3rd place last.....I will be first this year if we do it agin!!!!!!!!

I've had a few people ask me about draft times. I will be at work during the day on Saturday the 25th, so that one will definitely have to be at night. I have an in-person draft at 11am on Sunday the 2nd which is a large draft (12 teams with 22-player rosters) and also an hour away from home, so I'd like that one to be in the evening as well. I'm open to suggestions for Sunday the 26th , but for now, and to make it easy to remember, how about...

8 PM Central for all three drafts.

You can pre-rank your players and the computer will automatically draft from that list.
