Fantasy Football time is upon us. As commish, I started our leage up about a week ago and gave the previous years players to sign up (at least those I could contact). So, now there are 4 spots left (out of 16) so if you want in, do it fast.

I just got the last spot in the league. I played last year and I did not get an email at all this year. I am happy to get in, and unhappy to get no email. DJRamFan I gave you two addresses last year and they are still good. Did you really send out emails?

Oh well, I will get over it. I hope everybody got in that wanted to play.

16 teams are registered. Does the league automatically cut off at 16 teams?

First off - Do you have use such large fonts, Karl? ......LOL

I would have to say that your thread was rightfully moved to the appropriate forum. I would also suggest that this thread gets a sticky because it is the official ClanRam FFL and is more than worthy of top billing, whereas, the KarlBaker FFL is secondary and worthy only of a small blurb in the appropiate forum. Oh, and I don't recall the jellyfish last season? Maybe you participated under another team name?

Yeah I caved in yesterday when I saw this post. With the season fast approaching I guess I just had to scatch that itch again....LOL

Blitz, I can still give you any advice you might need before and during the season. Just PM me if you have any questions. Hey if my team goes to crap I'll even make you some killer deals on trades, just so you can kick tx's & DJ's butts....LOL

Just because they have each won the Cup once, does not mean anything for this year. Tx and DJ will have to fight it out with the rest of us.

I didn't see Avenger or adarian in there this year. Did they make it? Avenger has been missing the last week so I am betting he did not make it in. We must have some new teams in this year.

Well, Avenger missed it and I feel very bad about that. I had hoped that taking some email addresses would be the best thing to do, but I'll have to come up with something for next year.

As far as this being sticky-ed...that was my choice. With only a few spots left, I knew it wouldn't be up there long (and has been subsequently un-stickeyed). We welcome invitations to other leagues, but I try to get this going as the one for the ClanRam members and I assumed Dez would allow this to be stickey-ed.

Guess it follows the old adage...you can't please everyone all of the time or something like that. Sorry to those that missed out. Good Luck to those that got in.

16 teams is too many for one league..There isn't enough talent to go around..12 is the magic number in all the leagues I played in..You gotta wonder when the commish wins a 16 team league :tongue: ahem collusion j/k

16 is definitely going to be somewhat tough, but I guess we'll have to deal with it this year and fix for next.

Maybe add 8 guys and split it into 2-10 team leagues with the respective champs battleing for top spot. That way you get more people involved and the talent isn't so spread out. Kind of and AFC NFC thing ..If interested put me in for a spot

That would be a great idea, but I don't think Yahoo allows for that capability.
