ClanRam Has Its Own Bounty System

To those Moderators who have come out in favor of firing Gregg Williams, I can only say one thing: what a bunch of hypocrites!

I have conducted a study over the past few years and have determined that ClanRam itself has its own Bounty System that was initiated and is administered by none other than AvengerRam himself (Note: at this time, it appears that Dez did not condone this practice, but it is difficult to believe that he was not aware of its existence).

Apparently, the practice began as a means of weeding out "undesireables" (i.e. anyone who dares to disagree with AvengerRam and, to a lesser extent, HUbison). The Moderators (and, possibly, a select few "insiders") pooled together and agreed to provide rep points to anyone who could agitate an "undesireable" to the point that he or she reacts by breaking ClanRam rules. Cause an undesireable to get an "infraction" - rep points. Cause an "undesireable" to get suspended - more rep points. Cause an "undesireable" to quit the board or get banned - well, you get the idea.

How do you think AvengerRam (and, again, to a lesser extent, HUbison) accumulated such a high rep power? Certainly, its not due to the quality of his posts!

But it doesn't end there. The Mods expanded their "bounty" program to reward posters who actively joined campaigns to oust certain Rams' players and personnel. The biggest example of this was SLOP. According to my sources, approximately 578,000 rep points were awarded in total to those who helped AvengerRam in his vendetta against Scott Linehan.

So, before you go and condemn Gregg Williams, maybe you should look in a mirror, ClanRam.

You're in no position to judge anyone.

This is bunch of bull and I'm sure there are thousands of Clanram members that would back me on this. I will not name names to protect the innocent!

No one ever told me to specifically agitate an undesirable to the point that they would get knocked out of ClanRam. I may have given the undesirables some good clean ribbibng, which I thought would get me some rep points, but never with the intent to see them get carted off with a banning. Besides, this is nothing new, everybody does it.

Mike is right... every board does this sort of thing.

Besides, how can the members of a message board complain about this sort of thing. Its clearly what people want to see. I mean... how many reads and responses does a thread with a polite conversation get? Now compare that to a conversation that is marked with controversy, acrimony and dissent.

You know, back in the old days, nobody complained about this stuff.

I guess its just the PC world we're living in.

    I don't see a denial there.

Clearly, AvengerRam needs to step down and give up his undeserved lofty status.

I am shocked and appalled by these revelations. It's the moral equivalent of a war crime, cornholing a kitten, or even....gasp.... rooting for The Whiners.

Castrate them all with a rusty butterknife, I say.

I'm very impressed that Bernie knew my maiden name, Toalesserextent. I usually hyphenate whenever AV and I do our two man Vaudeville act:

An Evening with AvengerRam and Toalesserextent-HUbison.

That's a nifty piece of tap-dancing but, once again, I'm not seeing a denial there.

Bernie, in response, I can honestly say that I have never participated in a system that would lend itself to a willful display of events that may or may not be considered of a magnitude that would illicit a response to an elevated level of importance that might itself include a statement of my desire to do so in either a personal or corporate setting.

I think that should clear up my position on this. No further questions; no further questions.
