    Re: The ClanRam Wishlist

    So the breakdown for the final of the wishlist is as follows;

    Larry Fitz - WR
    Jay Cutler - QB
    Ben Rothlisberger- QB
    Andre Johnson - WR
    Troy Polamalu - S
    Demarcus Ware - LB
    Shawne Merriman- LB
    Peyton Manning - QB
    Kurt Warner - QB
    Nnamdi Asomugha- CB
    Brian Urlacher - LB
    Tom Brady - QB
    Patrick Willis - LB
    Steve Smith - WR
    Darnell Dockett- DT
    Michael Vick - QB
    Ray Lewis - LB
    Mario Williams - DE
    Devin Hester - WR

This totals, to 4 Wide Receivers, 6 quarterbacks, 1 Safety, 5 linebackers, 1 Cornerback, 1 Defensive Tackle, 1 Defensive End.

After thinking about it, I think I pretty much would love to have Calvin Johnson on the Rams. Megatron is in my opinion, the best receiver in the league, on the worst team possible. I think you have to give more credit to him for his young age, and that he would be an amazing player on any team. He has plenty of time to grow and develop, and is going to be one of the best receivers in the league some day.

    How about......Ryan Pickett?

He played great for the Rams. I was so peeved when we lost him for what $500K?

Thanks Zyggy. I hope you never show your face at the ED ever again.

I'll interpret this with a very very loose definition of "player" and take it as someone as who's an insider nfl type that knows his crap. Rams have too many holes, so it has to be a front office type...Bill Parcells

    Re: The ClanRam Wishlist

    DeMarcus Ware.

The man's a complete beast. I know he's a perfect fit in a 3-4 system but I would be willing to restructure the defense. Play more 3-4 or even try to invent some crazy 3-4/4-3 hybrid or whatever it takes to make him the centerpiece of our defense and put him in position to have maximum impact.

I thought about picking a receiver or quarterback too, but in the end our defense right now needs all the help it can get just to be average, let alone good. Plus I would love to see what Spags would do with a player like that - he would be our Justin Tuck (another great choice).

    agree with denmark ^^

ware is easily the best defensive player in the NFL, he is a freak, he has averaged 13 sacks per season in his 4 seasons in the NFL, he is 26 yrs old and just in his prime right now. dare i say it, the best player in the NFL?
