Coach Linehan Is Way More Fundlementily Sound Than Coach Martz!!

Don't let the pre-season fool you!!! This coach is the real deal. Martz never cared about the defense and the little things you have to take into considerration to "KEEP" a successful organization performing year after year. Coach Linehan seems to have the passion on both sides of the football to lead the Rams organization back to respectability. Martz was in over his head and also way too "arogant" to gell all the talent he had to work with into a NFL dynasty. He should have let Mark Bulger throw the ball into the end zone to comince his legacy as a "Mar-Key" NFL quarterback... in that lost to Carolina in the past playoffs. Go Rams!!!

Wow, 7 years of Martz and only 4 preseason games with Linehan and you can make a comment like that? Thanks for the update.

I was certainly in favor of the firing of Mike Martz, but I am not ready to proclaim Linehan as the savior just yet.

Boozler, Boozler. No, I would not let the preseason "fool me".

Coach Martz may have been greatly innovative and mad at times but

    F-U-N-D-A-M-E-N-T-A-L-Y

sound! We had many a FUN time scoring record amounts of points and winning games. We'll see about Coach SL.

I would not let myself be fooled by a comment like yours either.

Re: Coach Linehan Is Way More Fundlementily Sound Than Coach Martz!!

    Let's see:

Mike Martz, 53-32 record, 4 playoff appearances in 5 full years, 3 playoff wins and a Super Bowl appearance.

Scott Linehan, 0-0 record, 0 playoff appearances, 0 playoff wins, 0 Super Bowl appearances.

Maybe we should give it some time before any frivolous comparisons are made between these two.
