Coaching speculation from Dan Patrick show

On the Dan Patrick show he was talking NFL coaching changes that may occur at the end of the year. This is said to be a rumor but there has been talk. Herm Edwards leaving the Jets to go to the Chiefs where Vermiel is said to be ready to go. Saunders going from K.C. to coach St. Louis which of course means Martz would definately be done. They also said Fisher might replace Edwards in N.Y. leaving a vacancy in Tennesee. The only thing that worries me about Saunders is it's another coach with little focus on defense. Like I said it's all rumor and speculation so you never know where the truth lies.

If Jeff Fisher comes avialable and we are getting rid of Martz I wouldnt mind having Fisher and a good offensive coordinator.

On NFL Total Access they were saying that a defensive coach from Buffalo that was a DB with the Los Angeles Rams has had talks with Ram officials.

I would take fisher, with fairchild running Martz offense. And a new D cord is a must under fisher.

I heard the Saunders thing too. I guess after the Seattle loss that Vitt’s stock dropped significantly. Fisher coming to St. Louis after the ‘99 Superbowl loss is a great irony. At least he’s a great motivator!
