Well, one thing I did a very good job was explaining why we won't be going to a 3-4 base defense.
This does look like it's at least a few weeks old and probably doesn't include some of the guys we re-signed (like Romberg). I agree that Witherspoon seemed to wear down over the second half of 2006. At least for some reason or another, his stats dropped off a bit. On the other hand, I think he failed to give enough credit to Witherspoon for 2007. His suggestion that we might try to trade Carricker for a second rounder and a player the other team doesn't want (like the Jets' Robertson) is a little bit silly. We drafted him last year, and we named him the team's Rookie of the Year. What about that says we would want to shop him? You'd think he'd realize that we drafted Adam knowing we were going to play him inside, and we thought he was the best option available for that spot.
