Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
As witnesses <not by me> at camp today:
During calisthenics, all the guys were lined up with one leg out and the other curled, stretching their groins and hamstrings. Alex Barron, however, stopped stretching and just sort of sat there chillin for a few minutes. Richie Incognito, stretching next to him, looked over and made some remark to Barron. After the guys stood back up to do neck rolls, Barron walked over and shoved Cogs in the back of the shoulderpads, then returned to his spot. Cogs looked at him a second, walked over, shoved him back hard, and then kicked his helmet about 10 yards away. When Barron ran after it to retrieve it, Coach Linehan could be heard yelling "Come on, Alex, lets go!"
Cogs is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Thoughts?

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
Funny, but I don't want to see any fights between our own players...I like the reputation we have of never having issue players...Let us keep it that way
P.S. Cogs is badass though!

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
We don't need our guys to be divided, especially with BOTH of these guys capable of putting together a huge year.

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
No one nows what the deal was. There is a lot of speculation that this was a little game playing between the two. We don't know what it is all about, although it is fun to speculate.

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
OLmen will always get in some tiffs they rely so heavily on one another that their is going to be tension early in camp especially since they probably will struggle for a couple of days.

I like that. We need some people with an attitude that don't take for granted, "being on " the team.

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
Maybe they were joking around? Either way, I don't think this is a big deal

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
I say Cogs is as good a person as anybody to light a fire under Barron's butt, he needs it. To me, he is a little soft and sissyfied and needs to toughen up, and get an attitude. I like Cog's attitude until it cost's us 15 yards. But let'em go and get all the B.S. out of their system before the season starts.

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
Some shoving is fine but I don't like kicking somebody's helmet. It's childish.

Re: Cogs and Barron in a tiff!
i really like Cog's attitude. He will have a very very good year if he manages to keep his temper from boiling over into penalties
