Re: Come on...

RW, I am 100% behind you. I saw a few minutes of the game, listened to most of it, but from what I heard, we were beaten by a team that has been playing better than us this year. What we need to focus on is the wildcat offense they used - our D picked it up and shut it down. That shows promise.

About 80% of you guys have been *****ing about how bad the Rams suck this year. Well, if they suck as bad as you claim, surely you can't expect them to come out after last week's loss and beat up on a team that has been beating teams a lot better than us. We were the dogs - 8 point dogs. We beat the spread, and did that even with the mistakes that were made. Not great, but better than we have been doing.

RW, you mentioned integrity. Does it also disgust you when the faders fans and Lions fans show more support for their teams when they both have years of massive suckage? Seriously, the Lions have been sucking since, I don't know, 1978? Yet, I still see fans on TV, wearing Lions gear, painting themselves up, cheering on their losing team. They aren't fooled into thinking their team is any good - they know the Lions suck. My point is this: THEY STILL SUPPORT THEIR TEAM. Let me repeat this:

LIONS FANS STILL SUPPORT THEIR TEAM - EVEN WHEN THEY SUCK.

That's what I find disgusting - Rams fans only show support when we win. No wonder I spent so much time throwing up yesterday - it wasn't a stomach virus after all. It was the Rams fans not supporting the team that made me feel that way.

What do you all want?? We played better for gods sake. Rome wasn't built over night, nor are the number of problems this team has going to be fixed in one game, or for that matter the entire remainder of this season, and believe it of not maybe not most of next either.

Granted Bulger had a bad game...but who really cares just about that right now. Baby steps. He has things he has to fix, but who wouldn't with the beatings he has taken over the last couple of years..can you blame him?

Sometimes I wonder about the integrity of some of you. How long have you been watching the game of football?? Do you really believe that the world problems will be solved on any given Sunday? Does anyone have something to say that can show some passion for improvement.

Again...when your expectations are set to grander it is hard to go anywhere but down. Some of us need to take a few steps back and take a few deep breaths. And frankly; I am very disappointed in many of our fans reactions over this past couple of years. You all want the team to show resolute...but where is yours??
Ok is this post on support your team or expectation. Because if it is on support the rams I do that thick and thin. On expectations I don't think it is alot to ask your team to step up to the plate and win a game it can win. If we as fan are ok about out team losing winnable games and set that scale low what do that say about us. Always always set goals high how else are you going to improve well thats how I was brought up.

Actually in the NFL quick turnarounds are more common than not.

Look at the Dolphins, Falcons and Jets this season.

What we need is someone that can identify our problem areas and address them. With Steven Jackson back in the line-up today we couldn't score a TD?
Couldn't score a TD at home against a team that "was" 1-15 last season?

Issac Bruce was sent packing maybe we should have shown Torry Holt the door?

I'm very disappointed with the way our season has gone this year. Last season we had the injury plague that sent us to a 3-13 record. What is the problem this season? Lack of depth? Poor QB play? Players not giving 100% every Sunday?

Whatever the problems are they need to be addressed and there isn't any single player on our team that is safe. The rest of this season and during the offseason each and every player on our team needs to be looked at under a magnifying glass. Forget the buddy system and the history of a particular player, (Issac Bruce) heads need to roll.

I am and always will be a die-hard RAMS fan but this season is and has been a major let down. I expected nothing less than a competitive (8-8 to 10-6) team. There are some major issues with our team and I think they go alot deeper than what we see or read about on Sunday's.

GO RAMS!!!!

Hate to tell you this but your goal or expectation on the team will have zero impact on the Rams win/loss.

Your expectation or goal will only impact your enviroment. Due not be fooled into thinking your expectation will result in the RAMS performance.

If it makes you feel better having high expecations for the team then by all means set them high. I much rather go the route of setting them lower so when the team is disappointing the impact is much less as a fan.

Go RAMS
