    Comin' to St. Loo...

People in Frisco don't like that name, (but who cares) so if St. Loo is derogatory, my apologies. (Also, if this belongs in the lounge, kick me outta' here)

Some of y'all may remember last year, me and my associate, (a Packer fan), went back to Green bay for the Ram Packer game. Pretty cool.

This year, we're coming to the Dome in December.

    So...a couple things.

Is there any kind of group from this board that tailgate, and if so, can we crash your party?

Got tix in Section 438, row A, seats 1 and 2 - anyone sitting near there?

What's the weather like in mid-December?

What do I HAVE to see, other than the Arch, (which, being an Architect, I'm really looking forward to). We'll be flying in Friday, so we'll have a little time.

and lastly..., but first, people are always asking me where they should stay here in Vegas, and usually I respond that I don't really know, as I don't stay in hotels here -but I'll ask anyway. Where's a cool place to stay. Down home classy. Money's not a big issue, but I don't like snobby places. Somewhere nice you'd be welcome on a Harley.

And I LOVE blues, so if there's an out of the way blues bar in the area, let me know that as well.

    Cheers y'all, thanks in advance.

Packers, Dec,. 16 - sorry, I should have said that.

Also, due to a screw-up on my part, Im going to have two extra tickets. but I don't know where exactly. Got 'em through Ticket Solutions, and all I know is they're between the 25 yard lines, way up top. Will these be easy to sell on gameday?

Hello and future welcome to Saint Louis, I will not be there in Dec but it should be pretty cold (around 40s possibly) I on the other hand will be in AZ, avoiding the winter all together. (but watching the Rams v. Cardinals, anyone else going?)

Around the dome there are many lots that many people are tailgating, just pick one close to the dome and they are usually packed with people.

Things to do in STL, if you can go on the AB brewery tour, also the zoo is pretty damn good and free, if on the other hand you are looking for adult entertainment just drive across the river to the east side. bar wise you have the landing down town, and there are several bars with music but from what I have seen the venue changes.
A nice irishy bar is Mcgurks and it is downtown as well, they bring in irish type bands. A newer bar which I went to after the rams preseason game was the Old Rock House (www.oldrockhousestl.com) , it is near Busch stadium and provides live music every night I believe, I would highly reccomend it. Blues bar- In west port, from around the dome you take 70 West to 270 South to page maybe? I forget mapquest it, but here is the link http://www.backstreetclub.com/ Sorry I could not provide a bigger list of things to do, but I imagine you can find more when here.

    Vegas,
One of the better places to stay near the Dome is the Embassy Suites, it's a few blocks away. As for live blues, there is a small tavern right across the street from the Suites that has some very nice Blues bands playing. There are a lot of bars/taverns within walking distance of all the major hotels.

New hotel/casino opening up a block away from the Dome. Lumiere Place or something like that. They have already built a tunnel from the Hotel to the Dome. Would make it easy going from your room to the Arch to the Dome.

It's not open yet. Here's the link; http://www.lumiereplace.com/ccam.asp.

Looks like they are doing the exterior to match the Dome.

I know several managers working out of Lumiere and they are looking to open the first week of December but you know how those things go...

If it is open, it would be a nice option.
