Contract Status of Every Rams Player

    Per the Post Dispatch...

(*) Players who would be unrestricted free agents in a capped year but restricted free agents in an uncapped year.

    Terms
    • Unrestricted free agents • Free to sign with any team, no strings attached.
    • Restricted free agents • Rams have matching rights; can receive draft pick compensation if they choose not to match.
    • Exclusive rights free agents • Rams have exclusive rights to player if they make a one-year qualifying offer.

It's an image file, let me know if it doesn't show up and I'll do some reworking.

    Thanks for posting that, Nick.

Of the UFAs, I would only keep Massey, Hall and (if he chooses not to retire) Little. The others can go. Amongst the RFAs, Fells, Ryan, Bassey and Dahl should be kept as depth guys (or more than that if they do well in pre-season).

I'd also like to keep Adeyanju. He seems to have been in the dog house for some reason, but I really liked him.

We are coming off of a 1-15 season. Alot of the guys on the list are not going to be back regardless of their current contract status.

Who knows what is on Devaney and Spags mind? Not me?

Good point LARam0. A lot of these guys won't see the light in the Edward Jones Dome next year. Reform is needed, and part of taht process includes cutting some guys off the squad.

Why keep Massey when Neill is younger & will probably be cheaper ? Neill did a good job, especially considering he came in as a mid-season replacement on a unit that relies on precision; I don't recall any botched long snaps.

The Adeyanju thing is a tough one to decipher. I liked him as well in ' O8. But just like Darby, he saw so little playing time in '09 until The Rams had no choice that you have to wonder if there isn't some "intangibles" stuff behind it; the way he practices/studies,etc.

You keep Massey because he has only botched one snap since he came into the league in 2002. In a dire circumstance, he could be used as a FB (which he was early in his career). You keep him because in 2007, he played over half of the season with a groin tear and waited until afte the season to have surgery.

I was saddened to see Massey go down with a blown ACL,too, & appreciate as a fan what he's contributed to the team. But the NFL is a coldhearted business & Neill is younger, cheaper, healthier, & also did an excellent job under difficult circumstances this year.

It's laudable that Massey played through injury but don't NFL players do that all the time & it's a lot harder to come back from reconstructive knee surgery,no?

I don't even know what to say to the FB argument...you really want to see such a precious specialist slamming into the DL as lead blocker as well as the mayhem of kick coverage?!! I doubt any team has ever used a longsnapper that way. In any case, Neill was a pretty good DE in college from what I've read & we sure could use a little help there if we're gonna go nuts about such things. LOL...

Whoa ... I didn't know about Atogwe. He and Laurinitas are the only defensive players i'm totally bonkers for ...

I'd like to see Ammendola stick around. He could turn into an Az Hakim - but with a brain!
