    Corey Ivy was terrific today

How about corey ivy today? I believe he is going to not just make this team, but be a signinficant contributor. Tough guy, excellent tackler. Excellent new ram.

No doubt about it, Ivy is a keeper. He was solid today. Groce was impressive as well. Up until today I hadn't seen much from him. Maybe the starting job has helped him to step up to the task. Stone looked good also. He was in on alot of plays.

Good to hear we had a few positives from our poor performance.

There have been those special little CBs before that had a solid, successful NFL career.

I'd like to see Ivy get a start in pre-season just to see him vs starting wr's. The guy was right there on every pass play and his tackling was great. A lot of other starters could look at Ivy's tackling and learn something. Groce also performed well and his coverage was right on the money.

Ivy has that quality you really can't coach.....heart. The man was in camp playing with a cast on.

Now, about Groce. I didn't see much from him yesterday so please enlighten me.

On groce, he had man on man coverage three different times down the field and he was right with his guy.

Both Groce and Ivy impressed me today. Solid coverage.
Fisher on the other hand was burned twice. I don't know what the deal is with him.

There were at least 3 pass break ups he was responsible for. His coverage was right on the money, every time a pass went his way he was on the reciever like glue. Groce outplayed Fisher easily.

I must not have been watching very closely yesterday, as it was preseason.

And that is all I will take from preseason. Ivy came to play and should be given a chance to keep playing. As for the rest of the wet blankets, well ... it seems as if Coady has reincarnated himself in Arch ... this does not bode well ...
