Re: Could Holt End Up In Arizona?

I seriously doubt Holt will end up in Az. Yes, Bruce ended up in San Francisco who also happened to have Mike Martz and not much of a receiving corps. Arizona arguably has the best receiver tandem in the league and Boldin is still under contract through 2010. Arizona wants Warner to return and Warner wants Boldin to return. Arizona also has major room to work with in regards to cap space. Even IF they do trade Boldin, they will be likely looking to receive a solid player AND a pick for compensation. Ultimately, they will be left with better options for their future than our aging (although beloved) Holt. With that being said, crazier things have happened, but I seriously doubt the Holt in Arizona scenario is going to join those crazy things.

We cut Bruce, he was free to go anywhere. We still own the rights to Torry .. Interesting possibility, (Torry to Arizona) but seems unlikely .. We'll see. Love it when Barry posts here. Always worth the read !!

Seriously, how much longer can we keep Holt? He's aging, and we could use a compliment to Avery, NOW! Either restructure his contract or let him go. Holt, no offense, it was great while it lasted, but the future of the TEAM depends on some Difficult, gut-wrenching decisions.
