Yes we did. But to think this is the norm rather the exception is a mistake. And Sanchez fooled most everyone by playing out of his mind after performing poorly for much of the season.

Good point / argument, NJ. I agree with your observation. Seems to me that the Jets offense, their HC / OC and, of course, Sánchez himself, had the "pass first - ask questions later" mentality in 2009. Certainly their defense bailed them out more than once but IMO, they're geared towards, relying more on a passing game.
