Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
If healthy, Manning instantly puts a boost to any offensive setting.
Word is that Peyton coyld be released by the Colts as soon as next
week. The Rams could only help themselves by getting into the
Manning Mix.
With Manning, all eyes would return to the Great Show of St. Louis.
Is Peyton worth a look by the Rams?
Remember what happened the last time the Rams picked up a HOF
from the Colts.....

Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
I would love to have Manning on the Rams, unfortunately the NFL has a thing called the salary cap...

I don't know if your being 100% serious here, but I definitely know you don't think much of Sam Bradford. If he is same next season, then Ill be with you. But I honestly believe he'll be back to normal self next year, away from that McD offense.? However, if he doesn't show any signs of improved pocket awareness, then I think he is in trouble.? Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
Why would Manning come here to nurse a young franchise QB? He can do that in Indy.

Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
I know you're not serious (and again, you really need to stop trying to be funny) but, in case anyone wishes to give this even a moment's thought, the answer is "no."
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
Even if we had the salary cap I just don't think it's wise to have that much money invested in two players when we have so many needs.
Besides as much as I am a fan of a quarterback not starting their rookie year and learning... I don't think it would help Bradford to ride the bench for a few years at this point.

Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
Bradford could enhance his pocket awareness by blocking for Manning. Someones got to do it.
Patient, not saintly.

Methinks you have been inhaling too much Angelino smog lately. Do us all a favor and take a trip up to the mountains of Cali (Big Bear is especially nice this time of year) and inhale some pure air into your lungs. This process will allow oxygen to flow more abundantly into your cerebral cells and thereby (hopefully) improve the content of your threads.
Real, clean air...an idea whose time has come...

I was waiting for this thread. I was also waiting for 20 "NO!"'s following the original post, and my dream has come true.

Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
You know what your right let's get a 36 year old qb coming off three neck surgeries and pay him in excess of 20 million along with the at least 11 mill we owe bradford. We are only a qb away from a superbowl let's do this

I just threw up in my mouth thinking of the word manning written on a rams jersey.

Re: Could St. Louis be Peyton's Place?
Do not get me wrong. Peyton is the man. In my NFL fandom history. Other than Kurt Warner there hasn't been another QB respected, favorite for me as Peyton. Even with him rehabbing at 36, he deserves a shot and I would want him. However, not for this team. Bradfords last year was a fluke in many ways. We can't invest so much money in one position. Exactly why the Colts are thinking about releasing him. If the Rams were in a situation like the Cards/9ers/Broncos. Hell yeah I would have posted this topic before you. But Peyton is not for us man, not for us
