It sucks to lose Sam when he was starting to really play well these last three weeks but I would get on the phone to Tebow immediately because he is better than Clemons.

It's on the front page of NFL.com, and honestly not many people could be worse than Clemons.

    No to Tebow.

Not saying Tebow could, but the Rams would never aquire someone who could challenge Sam Bradford.

But we might bring back AJ Feeley.

Why not? Without competition comes complacency.

With Clemons at the helm we will be asking this question for the next 10 weeks of the season and the remainder till April.

    You can say that again.

The only competition Sam has had since he's been here was Thad Lewis for 2 pre-seasons, but somehow he didn't make the team.

Just another reason why Sam hasn't progressed like we thought he would by now.

Neither of these bits of information strike me as anything but awful news.

The Rams do fear Sam Bradford has a torn ACL but obviously will wait on MRI tonight to determine the specific knee injury, per sources.

I continue to be befuddled by the statements that Sammy hasnt progressed like we thought he would up until now. He has progressed just fine. How can you possibly hold bradford responsible for the horrific play at wide receiver that he gets. He has had multiple offensive coordinators and terrible offensive line play for most of his career. This season, with better pass blocking, look at the tds to ints. Can someone please look at the overall numbers! Look at todays game. Two dropped tds passes and a long td called back for penalty and he still has a rating of 93.4. What more do you want out of the guy? It's a team sport. The qb is not superman. He needs help from his team and he has not gotten it throughout the course of his career.

If all Sam has is a torn meniscus then we should all be jumping for joy. He would be back in about a month.
(I have had a torn meniscus and after surgery i was good to go in two weeks)

It really does suck. At this point, however, I think it'd be wise to draft a QB that'll give us a chance, someone to at least be excited for in case we can't have Bradford--which it looks like that'll be the case for the rest of the season, at least. I don't think we should waste a 1st round pick on one, but I wouldn't mind doing a third round pick on someone with great talent. Of course, it all depends on the scenarios...we still have plenty of holes to fill and it would be nice to use that pick on a position that could help our D or solidify the offensive line but it's really inexcusable to only have Johnny Hekker as a third string QB--and a primary backup, a vet, who we've all seen and know who he is: average at best. I, for one, would like to think that our season isn't over if Bradford is injured--which has happened in 2 of his 4 years as a pro. I hope--if this injury is, indeed, season ending--that he can come back and shine in his fifth year, as I have always wanted him to be "the guy." Hopefully we'll get some good news tomorrow...
