Re: Which current Rams WR will have the best production in 2011?
I voted DX just for the fact I really think he will shine next year with this motivation and work ethic he is putting into this off-season to get back to that level he so desires and lives. Last year even Spags and Billy D admitted the knee wasn't fully healed when they used him sparingly. It was a toss of the dice last year using him since he wasn't completely healed up. I expect that to change this year. With Clayton, Avery, And Danny I think we might not have a true number one but a great amount of 2's and maybe 2 3's that will fulfill our needs. THEY MUST STAY HEALTHY~!~!

Gotta go with Danny Amendola. He's less of an injury risk than anyone else on the list. Plus, with a healthy receiving corps, teams won't be able to double him like last year. My guess is that you'll see 90+ receptions, 850+ yards, and 9+ TD's for Danny this year.
Danario finishes a close second, by the way.

Someone WILL have a breakout season. Guaranteed.

I went Avery. He's got to get lucky on the injury front at some point. Having Clayton and Alexander playing effectively (should Clayton come back) I can't see why (other than injury) Avery can't put it together and absolutely breakout. Bradford and Avery seemed to be getting it together in the preseason and that only reinforces my belief. I just hope he gets on the field enough to justify my hope.

Re: Which current Rams WR will have the best production in 2011?
Games 1-4: 21 rec., 208 yards, 9.9 y/rI think the league figured him out down the stretch of last season, as he started to find it harder to fly under the radar.
Games 5-8: 24 rec., 171 yards, 7.1 y/r
Games 9-12: 20 rec., 172 yards, 8.6 y/r
Games 13-16: 20 rec., 138 yards, 6.9 y/r
I can't say other teams "figured him out", because he was still getting the ball at a consistent clip through each portion of the season. However, what teams DID do was recognize the lack of threat around him, and contain him to shorter gains. Which doesn't change much until we get a consistent deep threat, IMO."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Danny Ammendola prediction: 100 receptions, 1,000 yards. The kid is going to blow up under McDaniels, just like his big brother Wes did.

Re: Which current Rams WR will have the best production in 2011?
The safe money is on Danny largely by virtue of the fact that most of the names on the list have medical question marks. I think DX will continue to see limited usage until everyone is fully convinced his knees can hold up. A healthy Clayton should be able to compete for a starting spot, and it's anyone's guess where Avery figures on the depth chart after a year on IR following a sophomore slump in '09. Robinson had a very disappointing 2010 campaign, and it would not surprise me if he doesn't make the cut before opening day.

Re: Which current Rams WR will have the best production in 2011?
I have no idea. I can make a case for nearly all the WR's on the roster because they are all just average players at best with not a whole lot of upside. I see the ball being spread around evenly, with the best season going to the WR with the most TD's and big plays. Not the most receptions.!
Their does not seem to be much love for Gibson who just might surprise next season?

I would put money on Danario Alexander, provided he stays healthy. He is a prototypical X receiver in Josh McDaniels' offense and that position essentially dictates how the rest of the offense works.

Re: Which current Rams WR will have the best production in 2011?
we have a pretty weak wr corps, I just though that Gibson, and Robinson were our most complete receivers, but sadly is almost impossible to be a wr, when you don;t have hands!, they didn't caught a dam flu, so many drop passes, and drive killers. But anyhow I think that danny amendola will deliver us the better production, and hopefully clayton, and DX, are healthier this upcoming season.

Avery will get hurt on the first pass off the first play thrown to him.. Clay will be the best.
