When you watch him next time, watch how he tries to make a huge hit - high on the player. Fans often like the big hit but it's not how you survive in the NFL.Youtube has a highlight video of him. While I hate highlight videos (who doesn't look great when you only pick their highlights?), almost every tackle is an above the waste tackle.
I disagree with this assessment. I rewatched a lot of games and film on him and he is constantly making a big play or a nice tackle in the backfield. At times he does like to tackle high but a lot of players do that also even the elite ones. As I mentioned above this guy has better stats than troy polumalu ed reed and michael griffin. I think with better coaching and more experience he will be a great safety for years to come

I almost watch every Rams game this season and Stewart really improved during the season. The last weeks he was really good, improved his angles in run support and did a lot of tackles behind the LOS (he is the DB with most tackles for loss).
He reminds me Atogwe, he did some mistakes but also a lot of good plays and play with heart.

I like stewart, any time the defense made a play, which were few and far between, it seemed like he was around.
