Daryl Richardson
I must say (minus the fumble), Daryl Richardson looked very good. Even in week 1 he had those two 10 yard carries. Isiah Pead has dropped off the planet, hope he makes a comeback and lives up to his hype. Meanwhile, Daryl Richardson has really taken to that backup role we are looking for.
It has only been 2 weeks, but hope he keeps it up. Hope Pead steps up to his hype too, which could mean we have trade bait at running back

Re: Daryl Richardson
I love the way he runs. So explosive.

Re: Daryl Richardson
Since training camp I have been in love with Richardson and expected him to pass Pead. I am just glad that his draft position did not guarantee him the 3rd string spot. All that matters is how you perform and Fisher proved that.

Re: Daryl Richardson
Who would have thought that at this time of the season, we're having a discussion about our rookie running back named Richardson who didn't come from Alabama.

Our Richardson has certainly earned his touches, and I think he'll keep the ball tucked a bit tighter from now on, too.
Too soon to tell on Pead, although from my perspective he needs to take a page from Richardson and quit dancing around in the backfield. Seems like a case of trying too hard to do too much right now. The good news is we have a very capable back up right now, while he makes the adjustment.
Overall, it looks like we're well on our way to solidifying a big weakness from the off season.

Re: Daryl Richardson
I like what I see from Richardson, but I'm still hoping Pead will make an impact eventually.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Daryl Richardson
No doubt in my mind that Richardson will be the future RB. Unless Pead decides to show up finally.

Re: Daryl Richardson
D-Rich definitely showed us something yesterday. I'd like to see more of that in the future.

Re: Daryl Richardson
there's no reason that even if Richardson becomes our top back Pead can't play a large role in the offense. I'd honestly rather have two good backs sharing the load than a feature back.
It's way too early to judge Pead. If we gave up on every rookie after 2 games 99% of the NFL would be out of a job.

Re: Daryl Richardson
He reminds me of a smaller faster SJ39,doesnt have the size but the extra speed makes up for it.He runs hard and doesnt dance behind the line of scrimmage.

Re: Daryl Richardson
I think his best attribute, so far, is his vision.
If theres a hole, he will find it and hit it hard.
He's athletic enough to make big plays as well.
