Re: The day Rumph learned not to arm tackle
Sean Taylor obviously viewed this before our game against the 'Skins, better not to risk tackling SJ at all..

Re: The day Rumph learned not to arm tackle
He looks more like hes swinging his purse at SJ rather than trying to tackle him.
I'd never seen this before and honestly expected a much more serious hit. Thats weak!"There's only one way to succeed in anything, and that is to give it everything. I do, and I demand that my players do."

Good for you Marc! // I can imagine Rams pulling Rumph's leg about that tackle incident w/Jax.

Re: The day Rumph learned not to arm tackle
You'd think Rumph would've learned his lesson, but once he was back on the field, he continued his arm-tackling ways. He did put a heckuva hit on TO when he was playing at FS, though.

It's even nicer when that thing showing no heart leaves the team and ends up in St. Louis! Oh jeez, when is the smack forum coming back

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Re: The day Rumph learned not to arm tackle
thats quiet a statement... i could see hill making the probowl if he progresses like everyone here at the clan believes he can... if rumph can provide good depth at corner and play the gunner on special teams i would be happy....
what happens now to butler??? he can be a good cover corner but in haslett's system i dont know... i like his style of play, its just a shame that he got hurt and his career has never been the same

Re: The day Rumph learned not to arm tackle
If Rumph is going to play (and I don't presume he'll even make the team necessarily), I suspect it will be at FS.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!
