You know, I was thinking of responding to MoG's comments and new avatar, but then I realized, I'm the best poster on this board. When you respond to my threads with a sorry poster like MoG, that's the result you're gonna get. He should never talk about me.

Yeah, that's kind of interesting. Another "statement" I guess.
This board is taking on the "chippy" characteristics of our beloved Rams.

    Ew.

For the record, even though I'm defending Sherman in this thread, I also think it'd be hilarious if Peyton throws 4 TDs over his head next Sunday.

Sherman has been fined $7,875 for taunting.

I just listened to the audio of that moment, and there is no doubt the tone was a mocking one. Crabtree certainly took it that way, and reacted accordingly. The timing was also not a good idea.

I wonder if was for taunting Crabtree, or making a choke gesture towards Kaepernick, or both. He certainly had all the bases covered.

Yes, yes it is. I think the new avatar is stylish
And as far as the fine is concerned, nothing and I mean NOTHING slave-master Goodell does surprises me anymore. The players association should have never signed that new deal unless he was removed from his position.

And, once again, you try to inject race into the discussion.

    Let's be clear here...

    NFL players are not slaves.

    They're not warriors.

    They're not soldiers.

They're young men who receive large sums of money to play a game.

The least they can do is honor that game by displaying good sportsmanship and setting a positive example for the kids who idolize them.

As far as I know, Richard Sherman has some admirable qualities. But he also, at times, behaves in a juvenile manner that is disrespectful to opposing players and, in my opinion, the game itself.

So... this is not about race. It's about standards and ideals applicable to all.

You know, Richard Sherman is a genius!!! He has managed to get the entire nation talking about him and not the upcoming superbowl. I walked into an Applebee's in Radcliff KY and two gentle men asked what I thought of Richard Sherman. I told them, but what is important is that everyone is talking about him and what he said. Soon he is going to be making commercials about this and huge bucks come contract time, (Superbowl performance required). He may even angle for a contract rewrite. kudos, Richard Sherman for your Jonny on the Spot genius!!!

OH and AV, I am the best poster on this Blog! When you can get your but to more home and away games and properly represent ClanRam, we will talk. Until then....GO RAMS!!!

If some guy stripped naked, painted himself orange, and then ran out to midfield and took a dump, everybody would talk about him too. That would not make him a genius, though.
