Great news. 7 sacks and by far our best run defender on the edge. Yes, please.

That rounds out our Dline. We now have our Top 3 DTs and Top 3 DEs from last years squad under contract.

Looks like we will be making another run at the Sack Title!!

I'm very pleased he was retained. Like GC, I'm interested in the contract terms.

Agree with the masses- very good job by the Rams, keeping a key piece to the defense. Very happy.

John Clayton reported that it is a 3 year 10.5 million deal. So about 3.5 mil a year, seems just about right for a very productive rotational guy.

That's an excellent deal for both sides!

Perfect! I thought he might cost closer to 5mil/year after his breakout year and with other teams showing interest. Great signing for the future.

I don't understand why he didn't at least see what the free agent market would've offered him. He could've taken his career to the next level possibly. I'm glad he chose to play it safe and stick with the Rams.

He menioned last year (and recently) he loved playing for coach Fisher and the chance he gave him. Gotta love the Stache's impact on this franchise.

    If it ain't broke...

    Long: 11.5 sacks
    Quinn: 10.5 sacks
    Hayes: 7.0 sacks
    Brockers: 4.0 sacks
    Sims: 3.0 sacks
    Langford: 1.0 sacks
    Cudjo: 1.0 sacks
38 sacks generated by D line

    ... don't fix it.

Re: DE Will Hayes Agrees To Terms

I will chime in that this is great news, providing we paid him the correct value. Let's not forget he is a rotational player. Lots more to look forward to for sure.

    Go Rams!
