Why? Because the special teams couldn't stop someone who seems to be a big time returner? Because Sam was obviously still hurt and didn't have his usual accuracy? Because the defense came up huge today with the exception of one drive? Because the Cards were giftwrapped that first FG by the refs?

How about for having the guts for going for it on 4th down and playing to win? It didn't work, but Hoodie still has a job...

This regime needs another year for so many reasons that I could list. I won't, because those of you that want it to be over, will want it to be over regardless of what logic anyone presents.

Hello R.I. my friend, I believe that everyone is upset mainly by the decision to go for it on 4th and 1 rather than kick a FG; with 1:45 left in the game & the Defense playing so well. What are your thoughts there?

Right now I'm trying to corral my anger at our team. That way I hopefully won't post something unrational....So call me speechless for a while! I'll be back!

    I don't want the man fired.......yet.

    This team didn't quit.

If they convert the 4th and 1, then kick the field goal after running the clock down......then he's smart.

If they kick the field goal instead, and make it........then he's okay.

He was aggressive. They failed............ Now he's just stupid.

Personally, I was expecting, with the Cardinals crowding the LOS, to see an audible to play action. A nice little 3 to 4 yard dunker. But that was just me. I put that on Bradford. Winners and leaders want the ball with the game on the line.

Re: Dead man walking ............... we got a dead man walking here

Why because our safety dropped a game ending INT that hit him right in the hands... Why because we had a game winning FG blocked? Why because we could not pick up one yard with two run plays? Why because our d shut down their running game? Why because we had back to back safeties?

I can't hang this one Spags...

Spags is the man ultimately responsible for the team's abrupt regression. The team comes out each week seemingly unprepared and often times extremely sloppy. Those are coaching issues. As a coach, you simply cannot be helpless as the team regresses around you. I hear Spags' news conferences each week and he sounds out matched by the job.

Read the box score we dominated that game.... not sure how you hold Wells to 20 yards and get back to back safeties if you are just not up to the job IMO...

Re: Dead man walking ............... we got a dead man walking here

Wow, this thread again. Glad to see that we can discuss this over and over again every week. For anyone to blame spags for this loss is kinda humorous.
Spags plays conservative for a few weeks everyone wants his head. Spags plays aggressive with repeated shots down the field and a 4&1 play late in the game, everyone still wants his head.

The longer we have Spags calling the shots, the longer it is until we're relevant again. I want some stability myself, unfortunately, Spags proves week in and week out that he cannot prepare a football team or make the appropriate adjustments to hold onto leads in games. When one of his players makes a stupid penalty he claps. When they blow an assignment he claps. When the other team is winning or about to win he looks lost. He is in over his head, and I cannot beleive that that is still not apparent to some people.

"One more year" psssh, why? You want to suck again next year too? You guys like how the Spags-led Rams always find ways to lose?

They find ways to lose because they don't execute, that part is simple. Is it Spags fault that Bradford missed six wide open passes. Is it his fault Bradford held the ball and got sacked when Gibson was running wide open down the sideline?

Spags fault our O-Line cannot man up and make a small hole so Jackson can get 1 yard in 2 plays?

Spags fault the FG was blocked?

Spags fault that no one could tackle Peterson?

I can go on and on. Looked like a sound gameplan to me, with players that couldn't or didn't execute.
