Re: Defense
They certainly will miss him when he is suspended. He had a monster game against us.

Re: Defense
SD's receivers were basically absent in this game and you folks want to gripe about Fisher? How about our non-existent pass rush? How about the fact that our d-line consistently got blown up by the Chargers? If you think Fisher is even close to being responsible for today's loss, I seriously doubt you watched the game.

Re: Defense
fisher stood out like a sore thumb, more salient than a wart on a beauty queen and this was while we were still in the game in the late 2nd qrtr...
but, fisher isn't the reason why the rams lost this game and anyone naive enough to think it, needs to re-watch the entire game...but then again, i don't recall anyone specifically say that fisher cost us the game; rather he stood out on three consecutive pass plays by the charger in which three different chargers caught the ball on fisher who was actually within 5 yrds on one of the three...
the more probable reason why we lost this game was because the chargers have a more talented team overall and they ran the ball like there was no tomorrow while the rams were inefficient on 3rd down...not to mention that game momentum changing fumble in the 3rd qtr...

Re: Defense
I couldn't agree more. This loss can be traced right back to the four guys up front, who got pushed around all day by the Charger line. If they weren't giving Tomlinson a wide open path to daylight, they were giving Rivers a total comfort zone, allowing him to pick apart the guys in coverage.

Re: Defense
lmao, blaming travis fisher for this loss? wow. the D gives up well over 200 yards rushing and you blame a CB for it. gotta love the football iq.

Re: Defense
Fact is , Fisher did not get burned, did not miss any tackles. He's not Champ Baily, and played to his potential.
That said, I'd still like to see Butler get a start - he was playing well the year before his injury.
Guys - we were 6-10 last year. We're (probably) not going to the playoffs, let alone the Superbowl. Let's check these other corners out.
