    Defense looks good again...

Seriously, if Witherspoon is hurt, it's all over. Our backups have can't stop a high school team and we don't have a DC that can win with schemes.

And it surprises you that a backup defense can't do anything against a team playing their first team offensive line?

I've been wondering if our backups could stop a high school team.

It surprises me that they can't even stop them for a play, yes. And that they got blown up by the Titans backups too.

I'm not paying any attention to this game.. are our backups being made fools of? At least Haslett is probably fiery.

Some day these same 2nd teamers may be called to play against the 1st team. That's the whole reason for the pre-season, to evaluate 2nd and 3rd team talent. So far I'm not real impressed.

Some of these guys will not be on the roster next week so why get so excited about the game.

I will say it again it's preseason no need to get too high or low from the results of this game it means very little regarding this upcoming season.

Some of the largest impacts are the injuries not the actual play of the 1st string or 2nd string team....

    Go Rams

And when Brian Westbrook is running all over this defense- what excuse will we use then? BTW, a large portion of these guys will probably be on our roster come opening day- especially if we don't get back some guys from injury. Also, I don't see the backups of all the other teams in the NFL giving up 3 easy TDs on the first three drives of their games.

I would say the last preseason game mean the least. No body wants to play they just want to get out of the game with the 53 man roster being as healthy as they can.

If brian westbrook is on the field against a rams defense that doesnt have spoon, pisa, culberson, draft, long, little, hall, carriker, glover etc than we will be in big, big trouble. The odds of that are none.

This game has no relevance. While its true that some of these guys will make the team, most of the ones that do will either be game day inactives or will see the field at most on special teams.

It's comforting to know that quality help is on the way for the special teams unit.
