    Defensive Coordinator

It will be an interesting few days, as the names of perpective coordinators/coaches come to light. Who will stay on staff and who will go? I'd be interested in everyone's opinions and ideas.

I saw an ESPN headline that the Giants are now looking at Dom Capers to possibly take over for Spagnuolo. Wonder if he'd be a guy Spagnuolo would consider to work under him in St. Louis.

    Thoughts?

I don't like Capers- the NFL has passed him by. Besides, I believe he uses a 3-4.

Belichick likes him and thinks he still has a place in the NFL.

But what the hell does he know as compared to what you know?

Do you guys think Spags will let his DC call the plays or do you think Spags will want that control?

Just looking at the giants current staff.

What about Peter Giunta for DC?

He was one of the DCs with the Rams for SB34 under Vermeil. Martz fired him after the 2000 season and brought in lovie.

I wouldn’t call a “Special Assistant for the Secondary” all that much faith. That is a far cry from being on the hot seat at DC every week
