Defensive end play has been vastly improved

Little has 4.5 sacks, Hall 2.5, Long 2 and Victor has 2 also. I'm pretty sure we have more sacks from our ends this year than we did all of last year. Little looks like he has returned to his pro bowl form. Long has looked pretty good for a rookie and Hall and Victor have been much improved since last season.

    Imagine, when Little retires...

    Long - Ryan - Carriker - Adeyanju.

    They're already playing good...imagine a few years!

I think that Long has been as good as advertised. He strikes me as a slightly better pass rushing version of Grant Wistrom, so he is incredibly active up and down the line. He is always getting across the field on run plays away from him.

Hall has also adjusted nicely to his substitute role and the d-line coaches have used him smartly this year. Depth is always a good idea on the lines.

    Sacks by Rams DEs:

    2007 - 4.5 (0.28 per game)
    2008 - 11.0 (1.83 per game)

We should be witnessing some more sacks from the DE's this Sunday.

The Patriots O-line is overrated and Matt Cassell tends to hold onto the ball a bit to long on many occasions.

The Patriots have already given up 26 sacks this season.. we should be able to control the line of scrimmage on offense and defense.
