Deos anyone know anything about the Carriker / Long connection?

Sorry I don't have a link, but it has been reported that Carriker has been working with Howie Long to improve his technique. Does anyone know how the "connection" evolved ?? Nick you must know -- and if you don't -- you're sluffing off and need to provide us with the information ASAP!

Sorry to burst your bubble but you're a year off on it being Howie's son. We'll grab him next year to learn under Little. Chris Long is a 6-4, 284lb Senior DE at UVA this year. I know because my Dad's an usher there and has said hi to Howie at couple basketball games.

Of course, if Carriker suddenly treats the team to brand new satellite radio systems from Radio Shack, then we will have to order the DNA test.

I couldn't find an historical connection between the two. However, interestingly enough, two different national draftniks have tied Carriker to two generations of Longs.

Mike Mayock (March '07) said the player most comparable to Carriker is Howie Long.
Scott Wright (June '07) describes Chris Long as a poor man's Adam Carriker.
