Don't want to burst anyone's bubble but recently Gruden signed an extension with Monday Night Football indicating that he has no intention of coming out of retirement right now.

I went with chudzinski and other assistant in Jay Gruden...As good as Cower and Fisher sound i dont see it...also the way mike shannahan has done in washington makes me curious of the former HC thing.

chudzinski is responsible for derek anderson's monster year and cam newtons monster year this year. jay gruden has done a nice job with dalton and green in cinci

Chris Petersen - Boise State. This guy could make a difference, particularly with a young QB like Sam. Yeah, I know he's not the big name NFL HC everybody wants, but a look at his accomplishments in this sport might change minds. This guy can coach, no doubt.

For the NFLN guys I'd take in a guy like Billick over Mora. Interested to discuss any possible college coaches as well.

Let's bring in Andy Reid to take Devaney's job and let Spags stay on under Andy's tutilidge.

But I voted for Martz....proving once again that time heals wounds.

I'm against Mike Martz. I don't want a pass first team when we have Steven Jackson. It wasn't until Mike Martz was fired did Sj39 had his breakout year. Besides the GSOT was due mainly in part that we had so many elite players on offense.

Sounds like you could add Norv Turner to the list too. I would not want Martz back. My lasting memory of Martz is Holt yelling at him on the sideline. Good coordinator/bad head coach. We already have one of those.(maybe two)

I thought Holt yelled at Linehan. Did he yell at Martz, too? I don't recall this particular incident.

I agree, though, that I'd be skeptical about trying to bring Martz in for another run as head coach. I feel like to the extent that we were somewhat successful with him as a head coach, we could have been even more successful if someone else had been handling the calls at the top such as how to handle Warner's hand injuries (i.e. whether to take him at his word even when he clearly wasn't well recovered), deciding when to take timeouts, making sure various different personalities could stay on the same page, and not completely ignoring the defensive side of the game. He was one-dimensional as a HC, and consequently our team remained one-dimensional.

Bob Stoops. Reunite him with Bradford. If Tebow can run that offense he's doing in Denver, then we'll bring an NFL version of the spread back to Bradford.
