Re: Did you know during our last meeting
While the Falcons will have only minor changes, they will be facing a completely different team. As I posted earlier...

Same place, Same home team, but the visiting team is much different. The last time we saw Atlanta, Chillar, Groce, Anderson, Garrett, Coady, Dishman, G. Williams, & an injured Aeneas Williams all starter or saw significant time. None of this is true for week 19. In week 2, Curtis, McDonald, Manu & Cleeland combined for exactly 0 catches. In the past two weeks, they've combined for 16 catches and 310 yards. More options creates more headaches for the Falcons below average secondary.
|
This is not the Rams of week 2. The Falcons better bring their "A" game, because they're running head-long into a buzzsaw.

And we were tied going into the fourth quarter. If it wasn't for Vick, the Rams blow out the Falcons in that game.
I like our chances.

Re: Did you know during our last meeting
And, one Atlanta TD was caused by Orlando getting beat around the outside, which caused Bulger to fumble in the end zone, giving Atlanta a TD. That was in week 2 and Orlando had just come back from his holdout.
I would suggest that it is unlikely Orlando will get beat again, now that he is in shape.

Also keep in mind that Grant Williams was getting abused in that game. Now, he's been replaced by Saipaia.

Re: Did you know during our last meeting
Lets be realistic, if it wasnt for the injuries and the bad breaks with turnovers this team would be 12-4 not 8-8 ..right now were mostly healthy and we havent really given up the ball...thats the key...turnovers.....if we limit them, we have a excellent shot at winning....if we turn it over more then 2-3 times were toast....imho
that and as long as collinsworth picks the falcons for this game i know were ok...he picks us to win and ill be a very sad man.....man i hate that weasel.... :upset:

Re: Did you know during our last meeting
Alot of good points in this thread. The 2nd game of the season was forever ago. Too much has changed with our team to even try to compare to back then. Not to mention...is anybody feeling a little of that moxy, swagger & confidence coming back? I'm liking our chances even better than before.
Go Rams!!!

Re: Did you know during our last meeting
Our chances are good and it should be a hard fought game that will have us all on the edge of our seats.

Re: Did you know during our last meeting
We have a Monster Truck show that's happening this weekend in Fresno. The advertisement says "We'll sell you the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge". I have a feeling that's going to happen with all us Ram fans this Saturday!!!! :ramlogo: :ramlogo: :ramlogo:

I agree totally, I had forgotten just how long ago it was that the game was played. I think as long as the Rams can avoid turnovers and play tighter in coverage than they did last weekend against Seattle, there is a very good chance the Rams win this game. :ramlogo:
