Dissed by SI!
Analyzing the 2009 NFL schedule by Don Banks
17. Rams at Lions, Week 8 -- Put me down for this one being Detroit's best shot at a victory since Week 16 of 2007, which would, if my hunch is correct, snap a 23-game losing streak and give Schwartz his first W in the NFL.
Now I'm upset!
I hope we come out the gate kicking major butt!
It's personal! C'mon Spagnuolo!!!

Re: Dissed by SI!
I'm sure that if we would have played last year, Detroit would have won. That being said, this year it's a whole new game. I think this dude's dead wrong.

I hope the Rams light up the scoreboard when they play Detriot (48-3)!

Pay no attention. Don Banks is a moron. He is the same guy that said the Rams would trade Bulger to the Jets

Re: Dissed by SI!
Based on us being the second worst team in the NFL two years in a row he has the right to think that we stink until we prove differently. That does not make him a moron (eventhough he might be I wouldn't know).
Yes we have done a lot of changes in the front office, coaching staff and on the team. Will it work allready next season? Only time will show. Personally I think we will be much better. But I think that each year until I get dissappointed
I think some journalists will have to change their opinion about our team next seasons, but first we will have to do the walk, then we can do the talk

Re: Dissed by SI!
I'm far more concerned what Elizabeth Banks thinks about the Rams than what Don Banks thinks (and I don't really care what she thinks either, she's just more pleasant to look at).
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Dissed by SI!
Based upon past performance, who can blame anyone for their lack of confidence in the Rams? I don't care about his or any "experts" opinion of the Rams. It is up to the team to go out and prove these idiots wrong...

Re: Dissed by SI!
Big time slam.....losing to the Lions with a 23 game losing streak. That takes a special team to lose a game like that.

Re: Dissed by SI!
For this guy to imply that that the Lion's will beat the Rams in this game and snap the 23-game losing streak, basically indicates the he thinks the Rams will also be winless at the time ...
Seriously, these types of writers are just idiots. They write these things based solely on what happened last year. The draft hasn't even happened yet and they are already making asinine calls like this ...
These types of reports are a dime a dozen and a waste of time in my opinion ...

Re: Dissed by SI!
when i think a persons opinion is rubbish i treat it as such...throw it in the bin and forget about it.
For the team, i hope Spags collects these type of comments and stick them on the locker room walls...for a player before a game, there can be few better tools of motivation than to read those type of comments!

Re: Dissed by SI!
You want to talk about disrespect? I watched the NFL network 2 hour special on the schedule release and every time they were talking about another teams schedule and we were on it they left that game out. It's like saying the Rams is taboo or something. WTF!

Re: Dissed by SI!
Fellas in the past few years we've sucked so you can't blame a writer for having this kind of opinion of us. Now as with all things in life you either "put up or shut up" so if we want respect then you go out on the field and earn it!!
That is the only way to get more respect both in the league and in the media.
