Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

I'm wondering do you guys think that people underrate the Dome? Alot of people think that its crappy and stuff just because they haven't been there but seriously do you think people underate it?

The 2nd Pic is the one I took but seriously. That place is very very nice. Its nice and big and let me tell you guys if you haven't been there. Don't let the TV fool you it gets louder than he double hockey sticks in there. When I went to the jags game the ground was shaking

What are your guys opinions on it/

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

I only went to one game in the nose bleed section (VV), but I was not impressed. The word that comes to mind is "sterile." Getting out of ST. Louis after the game is a nightmare (especially if the Rams got beat).

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

My complaints relate more to the fans than the dome itself. The fans are first rate and as loud as any in the league when we are winning. When the team is losing, there are tons of empty seats. In my mind, that prevents the dome from reaching true upper echelon status as far as hardest places to play.

Historically, Fans show up at broncos, giants, eagles, packers games regardless of whether the team is winning or losing.

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

i think part of the problem is st. louis is a baseball city first, football second, but having been to the dome many times,i love it, its big and very load and the parties before the games are great.i expect the rams to be much better this year so hopefully the fans will fill the seats for every game.

I agree, Cardinals Baseball always have a high attendance rating because STL is a baseball town first and always will be.

Denver? The Broncos have been "it" for a long time. Giants? It's NY. They will always draw.
Packers? Only game in town.

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

the fans in St Louis just dont know how to get into a football "game face"

sorry, a lot of them do but not ALL of them.

There are way to many corporate fans attending the Rams games, sorry to say.

The dome is the dome. it could do with being updated. The vidoe screens are terrible compared to todays standards. The seats are fine and the hot dogs are great

Do they let you bring ted drews custard and cunnettos pasta into the game? JK Rams hit the nail on the head. Its a baseball town.

if they put a ted drews stand in the dome the line would be longer at that then it would be at the beer stand.

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

I'm talking the Dome in general not the fans or parking. Just our Dome. But I agree the fans do go to games when were winning and don't when were losing... Made me jelous I watched a Browns game and there stadium was loud as heck. The parking wasn't bad. Just didn't know how to get back to the bridge

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

I havent had the pleasure of seeing a game at the EJ dome, but it looked packed and loud as a mug when I was watching the Jags game. I think it has the potential of being a mean place to play.

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

16...

You can not just say The Ed. Along with any stadium goes the fans, the tailgating and most of all the atmosphere. That my friend is the only way you can rate a stadium. It's a package deal. No if's and or butts

Example...

Arrowhead is in VERY poor condition both the field and the overall structure of the stadium. But, it remains one of the most difficult places for opponents to play in for other variables, thus giving the stadium a higher mark.

As a building alone it's sure looks pretty, but when it's empty it isn't making any money and it isn't a lot of fun to visit.

Re: Do people underate the Edward Jones Dome?

I don't know about all of that, I went to games when the rams first came into town and were horrible..there were still a good amount of people. You also have to figure in that they have only been in saint louis for about 10 years while the eagles giants etc have been around for a long time with fans from way back. The saints game I went to in 05 wasn't the best when the rams were down by 2 TD, but it was still loud as hell..and they still came back to win it..I dont know which games you guys went to but from the 5 or so times I have been its been great..winning or losing.
