I havent seen anything in the last couple of days on our injury situation. Does anyone know if aeneas is going to be able to play on monday night? Ike is apparantly fine and i have not read a thing about Pace. Tyoka has a strained hamstring.

-- LB Robert Thomas (ankles) continues to nurse sore ankles and could be limited in practice this week.

-- WR Isaac Bruce (concussion) suffered a mild concussion during Week 5, but he is expected to play in Week 6.
DEFENSE
-- DL Tyoka Jackson (hamstring) is uncertain for Week 6 due to a hamstring strain.
-- FS Aeneas Williams (shoulder) was scheduled to undergo an MRI Monday, Oct. 11. He suffered a pinched nerve in his shoulder and was noticeably stiff in the locker room after the game. He said he will be fine and expects to play in Week 6.

-- QB Chris Simms (shoulder) is doubtful for Week 6. Simms will not need to undergo surgery.
-- WR Joey Galloway (groin) will start running routes on his own this week. Galloway could start practicing with the team after the Bye week.
DEFENSE
-- MLB Shelton Quarles (quadriceps) is listed as probable for the Monday, Oct. 18, game at the St. Louis Rams. Quarles may miss some practice time this week with a quadriceps strain, but he should play in Monday's game.
NOTES AND MISCELLANEOUS UPDATES
-- 10/11 -- The Buccaneers still have not named a new starter at right tackle, but look for ORT Kenyatta Walker to continue to get a lot of playing time there. The team is saying now that its plan all along was to bring OT Todd Steussie in as a mentor for Walker, but it's hard to believe the Buccaneers would pay $4 million for a mentor. ... QB Brian Griese will be the team's third different starter at the quarterback position when Week 6 kicks off. He will replace injured QB Chris Simms (shoulder). ... Brad Johnson's agent denied speculation that Johnson would ask the Buccaneers to trade or release him. Buccaneers general manager Bruce Allen also stated the team is not planning to trade Johnson. The NFL trade deadline is Oct. 19.
