Does this mean we give up on the Blackmon possibility?

One thing I was kind of sure of was if we signed fisher will we not get Blackmon? Is it more possible we go Trent Richardson or some other route and get a WR thru FA?

If we get someone like Vincent Jackson in FA, I don't mind not getting blackmon. But if we aren't picking up a WR, I really want Blackmon and I don't think that is possible with Fisher. What do you guys think?

Here's hoping that in this year's NFL Draft Blackmon goes to the Rams -- which would yield BIG points and kudos to our new HC! That would have to be one of his best / earliest / major moves to implement.

    Coach ... Let's do this!

Fisher took WRs in Round 1 twice with the Titans (Kenny Britt, Kevin Dyson), so I don't see any reason why he wouldn't consider doing so again if he thinks Blackmon is the best player available. That said, given that Fisher was used to drafting later in the first round, it would not surprise me if he shops the #2 pick first.

Quick - name 1 first round wide receiver on GB, NO, Pats or Detroit - the 4 most proloific passing games in the league. Rams want Kalil, and I hope Fisher's Cardinal and Gold heart carries the day.

Has it been reported Fisher is in charge of the draft?
Was he in charge of the draft in Nashville?

I think it's hard to say until we see who is going to be the O coordinator... You would think Fisher is going to want to upgrade this roster with his type of players so moving back in the draft sounds like a real possibility.

I think that's one of the reasons he decided to come here. Dolphins wouldn't budge on taking power from Ireland and giving it to Fisher. I bet Fisher has a lot of say in who joins this team.

I think a trade down is coming though. Trade back with the Skins possibly and adding a top CB. Pair that with Finnegan and the guys we already have and our worst unit (barring WR) becomes a strength.

I can only hope that Fisher has kept up with the current NFL game (im sure he has); in which running backs are no longer a premium commodity, and the emphasis has shifted to the passing game. He has got to know and realize that.

Im am afraid, however, that his Link to USC may sway his decision. If there were a way to trade down to position 3 as well as get another 1st round pick-- Id lived to see the aquisiotn of Blackmon and and either
Poe or 1 of the 2 OTs (Kalil or the Iowa guy)

The reason I say we need the 3rd slot is I fear Minnesota.

Maybe Jeff Fisher will convince to trade for Kenny Britt.

That'll make richtree cream in his pants. (For anyone who remembers his obsession with Britt a few years ago.)

Finnegan and Morris Claiborne.... that would be something.

Not bad, but risky. I love Britt, but the guy is coming off a major ACL and MCL tear. Though he was leading the league in REC yards before he went down. I think the kid is going to be a monster. Not to mention he was arrested like 19 times this pastt off season.. .

And the RT part, thats frickin hilarious, yet true.

I know. He had a lot of potential and could have been big, but I'm not the biggest fan of this kid because of off the field issues. If you're reading this rich, don't kill me. I didn't mean to insult your girlfriend.

I don't think this means Blackmon is off the table, but I'll tell you what. It wouldn't break my heart any if we decided to draft Trent Richardson.

For the next year we have a proven commodity at RB. So in that frame of mind I would favor Kalil at #2 or Blackmon/Claiborne baring a trade
