Re: Does Rams conservative play calling hurt Bradford?
If the Rams think that SB is another Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, or Tom Brady (go for the jugular QBs) they're wrong, so the Rams are playing to their strength and to Fisher's style of coaching. Run but not much gun IMO. They don't have RGIII or Colin Kapernick back there, which takes away the QB run option, so a 'triple threat' QB isn't behind center. Having said that, I'm not knocking SB. He is what he is and the Rams, IMHO, are calling plays accordingly. Can they win? Of course they can. But the GSOT has left town and that rodeo ain't comin back for the foreseeable future. Let's just relax and get used to a different brand of football and hope that it's effective enough to get to the playoffs sooner than later. Happy Holidays to all and a Healthy New Year.

Re: Does Rams conservative play calling hurt Bradford?
Before anyone else jumps in on how Bradford wasn't sacked(for once) last week and still wasn't too hot, I think the above means CONSISTENTLY good OL pass protection, not just one game out of many.
All that said, Bradford doesn't need to be Rodgers, Brady, etc. He may be getting out-classed by guys like RG3, Wilson, etc already and have a terrible contract, but if he can simply be Andy Dalton, that would win some more games. I'm certainly not on the anti-Bradford side of the equation, but he's got work to do as does the entire offense before anyone can clearly state "Bradford's a bust." For what he's paid and his cap-hit, it's a painful experience as he and the offense both go through a major re-build.
It's better than last year's offensive offense so not all hope is lost. At least we now have quite an accomplished OL coach in Boudreau and excuses aren't tolerated as were before when guys go down on the OL with injuries.
