But is this loser serious? 3 catches for 24 yards on the year... and we're making guarantees?
Obviously if you upset the Bills and he scores a TD it looks cool... but what are the odds of that?
What is the worst way this could end.... Rams get blown out and Avery doesn't score?
Nope.... Rams get blown out, Avery catches a long TD late to make it say... 38-10.... and Avery does his lame TD dance anyway....
I actually hope that happens.... he'll look like such a fool.

Re: Donnie Avery guarantees TD Dance
Not quite sure that deserved the "red button," but I definitely disagree with his take. I'd LOVE to see the young rookie have a chance to dance, hell this team needs some kind of fire. And if he really wants to dance, then he'll have to get his happy ass into the endzone and I'm totally OK with that. Heck, I might even dance right along with him..

Re: Donnie Avery guarantees TD Dance
Ahh, a classless act. Do you need the tour to find the exit door? Here, I will do you the honor of providing you with it since you seem to be lost.
OK. You are here....Leave the door that say's *Exit*, (It's a big sign, you certainly cannot miss it unless you really are as dumb as you sound.)
You then turn<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<(That is left, bye the way). You will go down a long hall, (We provide restrooms on the way),................When you come to another BIG Exit sign, you will then follow the arrow. That would be this way>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>in case you missed it.
Wala! You are almost out, but don't stop untill you get your lovely departing gift from Scotty. It is a *Football 101 classic book*.
Have a nice day now.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: Donnie Avery guarantees TD Dance
aside from a non-Rams fan posting about this:
Im not a fan of showboating
Hence people like Terrel Owens I have always disliked as an example.
Just like holdingout, NOTHING good comes from pre game showboating
as demonstrated by that Pittsburgh DB
and again--- actions speak louder than words
You want to dance in the end zone and fire your team up?
get there and do it in the game and keep those thoughts to yourself.
evertime I see pre game promises all that ever happens is the JINX.
Andnow that Ive JINXED the JINX, it should cancel out Avery's comments and allow him to get in the end zone.

Re: Donnie Avery guarantees TD Dance
I've always tried to draw a line between taunting and enjoying the game. Up until Chad Johns--I mean Ocho Cinco started griping about how his team didn't appreciate him, I actually enjoyed his antics. He was just being goofy and celebrating, which sounds like the kind of thing Avery intends. I don't think there's anything wrong with a little celebration to share the moment with the crowd, especially when you've got a team like say the Bengals or (alas) the Rams who don't always have that much to celebrate these days. The difference is whether you're showing off/disrespecting the other team (a la Terrell Owens) or just trying to have fun.

Re: Donnie Avery guarantees TD Dance
I think this is a dumb move, but it's Avery's move. For a guy who has yet to reach the quarter century mark on the season, and has 0 TDs, he's more than likely going to end up looking like a fool.
