Dr. Z Rates the Rams' Draft

Top draft Adam Carriker is a 298-pound brute of a DE. Maybe he'll stay around for a while, after the Rams have filled half the rosters in the league with their ex-defensive linemen. Brian Leonard is an interesting second-round choice, half fullback, half running back, well schooled in the fundamentals. How this translates into an NFL lineup, I don't know, but I like the idea of the club taking him this high. Third rounder Jonathan Wade is a cornerback who deserved to have been placed above his station.
The comment about our ex D linemen made me laugh and cry at the same time.

It's sad but true, hopefully Haslett will turn things around.

Re: Dr. Z Rates the Rams' Draft

I'm not too sold on Wade. TEN had a very good Dline (note all of them got drafted it seems) that makes the secondary look better. STL needs more help in the secondary so I guess just wait it out and see what happens.

Re: Dr. Z Rates the Rams' Draft

This Dr. Z guy is annually wrong on draft ratings, player projections, and team schedule predictions. Why does he still have a job?
