    Eagle sighting

I was standing on the deck this morning and a big black eagle flew overhead....... it was big with something like a 5 foot wing span....

I came back in and looked it up in my bird guide and it turns out to be a Turkey Vulture. I found this funny.
Perhaps it is a sign..... who knows.....

Yeah...that means the buzzards are already circling over St. Louis in preparation of the disappointing loss the Rams will have Monday night. They sure aren't circling over the 13-1 Eagles!

You are obviously not a birder, Utter. Mistaking a turkey vulture for an eagle (bald or golden). Sheesh!

I only saw it from underneath, and it was too big to be a hawk. It was impressive looking.

JTrotter, this vulture is no where near St Louis. It is actually much closer to Eagle territory. The 13-1 Eagles could use a loss right about now to knock them down a little in preparation for a decent playoff run.

I think he might have been circling over Martz' house!

    LOL.

Seahawks, Eagles, Cardinals... I hate birds.

    (Although some are yummy).
