    Eagles game and RAMS FUTURE

    Guys,

We are better off losing that game. Like I posted last week, our draft position improves every week.

Marmie will gone and so will some dead wood from the atrocious DEF...

It's hard medicine, but we're better off losing meaningless games and looking forward to what is shaping up to be an excellent draft class.

    Look to the future.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all

And just to add to your statement....

How many crappy drafts have we had in recent history? We can't rely THAT heavily on it....

we can get "decent" defenders in the first day of the draft...what we need are very good to great defenders...and relying on the draft to do so is not enough...

FA is the way to go to get immediate results, but then even claiborne and coakely couldn't do much in our vanilla pudding defensive scheme...

If you're not going to make the playoffs, you might as well get a good pick.

What good is 8-8 when you're out of the playoffs?

    ,

i may've agreed with you on this several years back when i use to be a draft watcher, but i've come to the conclusion that if you're good at player assessment and just plain lucky sometimes, you can find excellent players in the bottom half of the draft every year. sometimes these players end up having better careers in this league than the "blue chippers"...
