I believe that that eagles had a grand total of two offensive starters in the game yesterday. LJ smith the tight end and andrews the o lineman. I think everyone else was a backup when training camp started. Shows you how decimated they are. I may be off by one offensive lineman, but you get the point lest we get too excited by the apparant improvement of our defense, especially the pass rush.

well no but its humiliating

It matters in the context of people talking about an improving defense. i dont think its improving when you are comparing apples to oranges, ie playing against starters one week and an entire team of backups the next week.

Gosh Golly diddly dang it.Theres no way we can replace a whole defence in the offseason,or improve it that much in the draft or FA.Marmie has just got to go.If we have good talent then we need a talented DC. AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGFG.

The context is important when Vitt's talking about the Defence stepping up to the plate whilst throwing the O-line and ST under a bus. 4 sacks and 3 INT's against Mike McMahon and a decimated O-line isn't great, and again we make a reserve RB look like Marshall.
