This should be a good match up between two quite even ball clubs. The Birds have the better players throughout their roster, but on the day this game is almost 50-50 with the Rams having the dome field advantage? Its going to be a sellout so the Rams may start too get some of that 12th man support. ?

54% chance the Eagles beat out the Rams. 46% chance to win for my Rams obviously.?

What I expect to happen realistically, is the Rams to play them close, but run out of steam in the 4th quarter.
Ill be very disappointed if the Rams allow over 30 points though, or only score one TD on offense.?

A couple of turnovers by that aggressive Rams D in the RZ, could easily happen. If so, then I expect the Rams to finish the job off.?

I really don't like their offensive line that is STILL rotating with the benching of all-preseason starting rookie Watkins, and though Vick will be able to make some plays, the instability there will let our front four create havok as well.

For our offense, we need to keep it heavy to keep their nickel package on the sideline and make them defend with their horrible linebackers.

I look at this gameas a major stepping stone for the Rams. Two years ago, that Rams team would lose 38-3 and just embarrass the franchise. Last year, we would have been on the losing end as well but we would have closed gap. This year, I think we actually have a chance. No rocket science here, game will be won/loss in the trenches. With a few breaks, Rams come out on top by less then 3 points. Conversely, it would be most disappointing to see this game get away from Rams. Keeping it close either way shows great progress.

I have too agree TekeRam on this weeks opener , Watching both the Eagles and Our beloved Rams I really think we have a good chance against the dream team with our TE, Jack and WR , If we can create enough holes for Jack and the others in the back field we can have a good day , However I'm a bit concerned with some of the holes our boys had during the preseason on Def. With our Bookends we will need to keep a close eye on Vick and sack him a bit I feel we can keep it close . After reading somethings on the rams site about Jack I think if we play too our potential being inspired by that postl I think we can win by a slim margin .

27-24 Rams in a close one..the running game gives us trouble but a couple big plays and 3rd down conversions get us the 'W'.

I don't blame you for not wanting to go against your team. The thing is, I can't blame you for picking the way you did. Yes I know, the Eagles offensive line sucks. I believe this is offset by the Eagles outstanding receiving core(3 guys with 1,000 yard potential), a dynamic duo at running back, and a mobile quaterback who can makes decisions on the move. This should create matchup problems on defense with the Rams thin at CB.

Defensively, I think the Eagles are in-experienced at LB more than they suck. I agree this group should not create concern, but the fact is this starting LB core is like 26 years old and younger. This could mean 1 of 2 things, this group isn't ready to handle the work load thrown at them, or they have all taken a leap forward in terms of progress.

The defensive line is a very formidable group. While I don't think any particular player is that great, with the exception of Cole, but they all compliment each other well. The secondary is even more complete with Hanson being re-signed. If the LB core has improved from last year, and the Eagles secondary being the best in the league, this is not a team to throw against.
