Embarrassment mounts for Hapless Ram’s Club
Rams lose to Roses and Raisins
BY Atsi Myamom –San Francisco Chronicle
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- The joke goes, “That team played so badly that even their opponents Grandmothers could’ve beaten them.” The comment usually elicits a nod and knowing chuckle. Not so this week. Sources inside the Forty-Niners organization have just confirmed that the Rams have indeed just been beaten by their players’ Grandmothers. Although many of these eighty-something ladies have never even watched an entire game, they were able to defeat a struggling Rams team.
Comments from Rams players and coaches were mostly shock, and surprise. RB Antonio Pittman said, “I thought I was crazy. I kept smelling like a combination of roses and rubbing alcohol.” He added, “Man those old broads sure can hit hard.” Rams OL Orlando Pace said, ”I don’t know anything about it. But I sure do appreciate the cookies and warm milk between quarters.” Coach Haslett was in agreement with Pace’s assessment. “Oatmeal raisin are my favorite.”
When contacted, Commissioner Goodell refused to comment any more than to say that the league would look into the situation next week. A source inside the league office, who agreed to speak with this reporter only after he was guaranteed anonymity said, “I think the Commissioner knew. I saw a tin of home-made Oatmeal Raisin cookies on his desk, and he kept giggling after hearing the score.”
Who knew, and when they knew aside, this Rams team can be sure of one thing. The leagues grannies have their number. If they can be beaten so soundly by the Bay Area Grannies, What will happen to them next week when they face “The Mothers of the Midway?”Last edited by Truth; -11-17-2008 at 10:24 AM.

We got blown out by the whiners???!!!! ..We can't beat anybody!!!
I don't have a good feeling about our final 6 games... C'mon at least put up a fight... Getting blown out back to back weeks is just ridiculous! Except for the patriots game we were blown out in all of our losses! FIRE EVERYBODY!!!!
I believe ! (2009 of course)

Did not mean to offend the "wildlife" community friend, trust me I am no stranger to wild turkey, old crow, uncle jim or cousin jack. They are all my friends, btw sorry if I am rambling, I had a root canal done today and have found that percocet is as good a pain killer as any of the above mentioned without the nasty hangover. Who knew?lol
