The news went from bad to worse today as the entire Rams roster was abducted by an alien armada, thought to be from the planet Pluto, during this morning's workout.

"It really was a shock," Candy Getwurse, the front desk manager at the nearby Drury Inn, stated. "First there was a big shadow, then a flash of light, and suddenly, the team was reported missing.

The Rams have elected not to forfeit this week's game against San Francisco despite this unfortunate incident. Instead, the team will hold tryouts for replacement players at 3:30 this afternoon.

"The pickings will be slim," interim head coach Hugh Gotabekidinme stated, "but we have to move forward."

Reports that Bill Belichick was involved in this matter remain unconfirmed.
