    ESPN Disrespecting the Rams

First the Rams get barely any coverage on the Spagnulo hiring, when Detroit and the Bucs get more pub when Spags was the best candidate out of the three. The most disrespectful part to me was when Chris Mortenson said the rams have some good players and should be moving their outstanding LB Brandon Meriwether outside. He was talking about Spoon and he wasn't even close. The worst part was he called him the cheatriots FS. ESPN always finds a way to disrespect the Rams.

Yet another reason to thank God for the NFL Network. ESPN isn't a blip on my radar screen anymore.

How much respect do you expect when you win five games total in 2 years and havent had a winning season since 2003.

    Re: ESPN Disrespecting the Rams

I turned on the NFL Network after seeing the Spagnuolo info. on ClanRam. They reported that the Rams "had agreed in principle with Steve Spagnuolo".

I then turned to ESPN, where it said "Chris Mortenson reports the Rams have narrowed their coaching search to Steve Spagnuolo and Jason Garrett". This appeared for well over a half an hour before they got it right.

Very disappointed in ESPN and Mortenson. And the "Merriweather" reference was stranger than fiction. Way to have your teams straight, Mort.

Well I believe that Spags, Whiterspoon, will send a reminder to ESPN when we make the playoffs, and another SB in the next 3 years.

So Detroit deserves more respect when, they have been way worse for longer.

Yes we do, and I hope you put the baby down by now.

GC, I'm thinking the point of the post was that ESPN did not give credit to the signing of Spags,.............THAT is news worthy!

St. Louis is a mid-market we usually tend to be disrespected/overlooked even with the Cards. You get used to it.

    Re: ESPN Disrespecting the Rams

It's not even the disrespect thing that bothers me, it's the lack of intelligence and knowledge. The guy isn't on our team, it's that simple. For an expert, he shouldn't be making a mistake like that. It was flat out stupid. It just shows that there is no research about the team, not that you need to do that much to figure out that it's Will Witherspoon, and it shows a lack of professionalism.

Guys, we should be the people laughing...

Meh, what do you expect from a network where all they talk about are the Yankees, Red Sox, Patriots, and Cowboys.......
