The Eve of the Perfect Season
In a perfect world on any perfect Sunday the 2005-2006 football season would go something like this.
The Rams would end their season with a 13-3 record. Losing only to Dallas (because it didn't matter), Philly and Indy. Wrapping up home field and a bye by mid December. In the playoffs we first see the Vikings after they win their division and take out the Kitty Cats. We put on a complete show in our Dome again the hapless Queens. Then Philly comes to town and all that matters to the whole country is shutting down T.O and his mouth and getting a win.
Then it is revenge time. New England in Detroit. The whole world is predicting yet another championship for their beloved Pats. And then Martz makes a total fool of Belichick and his number one ranked defense. And once again the world stands to their feet and takes notice of Martz and his "Greatest Show on Earth". Now this would be my story book season.
