Re: Eventually, some of the "experts" will adopt the Rams.

I see us being a team in the mix next year, but not close this year.

A center and a safety and a rookie draft pick just is not going to do it.

No way "experts" take us to win the division, but they will say that we

    are improving.

First of all, what's with the superfluous smilie?

As for what the "experts" will say... I doubt you'll find anyone who will pick the Rams to win the division, given that the Cardinals are the defending NFC Champs (thought, if one is particularly fond of the "Super Bowl Runner-Up Hangover" theory, perhaps one will). I'm quite confident, though, that someone will predict a 9-10 win season with a Wild Card birth.

I for one could care less about the "Experts" most of them just talk out of their ass. when we do start winning again I am sure that the "experts" will start picking us, But I could really care less. The "experts" are the guys that wasn't good enough to play football so they just talk about it. IMO

I would be highly surprised if any of the experts picked the Rams other than fourth this year in the NFC West. Who are the Rams better than? No one in our division right now. We have the worst O line in our division, the worst D line in our division, the worst secondary in our division, the worst WR corp in our division and the worst special teams in our division.

    Right now.

You, of course, are aware that as soon as an "expert" picks the Rams as a a "sleeper" team or a wild card contender, I'm going to post it here and say "I told you so."

I'll go with Chris Mortenson. He mentioned several times that he grew up an L.A. Rams fan, so I think he has a soft spot for the team.

You know it is going to be a big topic " Who will be this year's Miami or Atlanta" and I'm sure we will be mentioned somewhere.
Howie Long will most likely pick the Rams to make the playoffs. Every week at the end of the season he was picking the Rams as his upset win. It would probably be hard to pick against your son and he is probably actually paying attention to the Rams off season moves unlike every other so called "expert".

Also, a lot of the experts that appear on tv have the right to call themselves experts because most of them were either super bowl winning coaches or hall of fame players. Some nerd sitting on a computer who played high school ball and is a madden pro shouldn't be calling himself an expert though.

Ok Av, that's fine. You told me so if that happens. It just doesn't mean anything really. The Rams have to play better than last year, in more ways than one. I'd would venture to say that even though Detroit didn't win a game, they were better than the Rams. They lost a bunch of games by 3 points or less.

Actually, the Rams were either leading or within a score of leading in the second half in 5 of their last 6 games last year. If they had managed to finish better, they could have won 5-6 games.

I would love to hear Howie weigh in on the off-season changes in the Rams' FO and the hiring of Spags ...

Ok, if someone picks the Rams to win the division I will give you kudos for it.

It has been a complete 180 since Chris was drafted. If Strahan is still on Fox this year I will be listening closely because between the 2 of them they will be talking about Spags and the Rams.
I had forgotten about Strahan .. That should be sweet! Looks like dumping Shaw and Ziggy will be paying immediate dividends iin the publicity dept at least .. (no way would we have Spags if those two were still here) ...

Ok, if that's the case then for Av's scenario those two have to be extraneous variables in the equation due to biased circumstances.

I hope your right and we are a sleeper for reals. I dont care what the so called experts think. You and all people on this site are going to be right
more often than the "experts".. Why, because the "experts" focus on a million
different teams and subjects. We only focus on the RAMS...<< Is this
    a better face.?LOL..

Of course some idiot will pick us a 'sleeper' (that's why they call them idiots)...
I will be happy if Spags keeps the course steady and aimed for the long run. Winning more than 5-6 games this year will be gravy imho. Let's build a quality, solid, well run team, and that begins with how these guys grade out with this draft.
