my experience with sopcast is very slow playback with constant pauses, jitters, etc. (I've got a 7 Mbit per sec connection too). I'm going to try it anyway, because, I don't have any other choice.

I hope this works out, I barely ever see Rams games on the east coast. I hear there are sites where we can watch season games for free. I believe verizon is activating this for FiOs customers but I am not sure if this goes for any verizon customer who also uses Directv. I haven't been able to call them recently, I have to get around to it. Do you guys know of any sites? I know ESPN 360 has something like this, but I'm not sure about live NFL games/sign-up, etc. I will check this site out on Friday when the game starts.

Looks interesting, thanks. I'll be checking this site out, especially when the regular season comes around. I used "TVU Player" last season and that worked out reasonably well for me (occasional lag though), so that's also an option for those of us unable to watch the games on TV.
