Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Instead of giving props to the Rams all I hear is how the 'boys QB was injured, Pacman suspended, Roy WIlliams wasn't in a Dallas mindset yet, 'boys are playing uninspired and sloppily, etc., etc..
But then what does one really expect from the talking heads who profess to know it all but are weekly proven to be no more prescient than any of the rest of us.;)

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
That has been a trademark of the Dallas organization, as well as the broadcasters today. It isn't that the opponent played well but that the Cowboys were flat....or had injuries....
They never give credit for an opponent's playing.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Just gonna take a huge win vs. Patsys, but then they will say its due to Brady being out! We just can't get any respect.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Jimmy Johnson almost gave some rep to the Rams. He said something like "All they did this week was talk about the finger, Pac-man, did they ever once talk about the Rams?"
That's probably about as close as we'll get.
NFL.com does have "Steven Jackson and the Rams ran over..." and "Rams pound Cowboys" on front page. I guess Jerry Jones doesn't own that media outlet, yet.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Was that FOX? The NFL station wasn't anything like that, they gave lot's of props to the Rams.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
as LA Rammer pointed out, I wouldn't be too surprised if many critics point out that if the Rams beat the Patriots, it will have more to do with Brady out rather than the Rams possibly playing well. Anyhow, I noticed on an article in the Rams site that Jackson had been seen limping off the field. Was anyone here at the game that may have seen what happened or heard on local radio (since fox stopped broadcasting the game)?

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Fox really didn't give anything, Johnson was the only one who came close.
NFL.com seems to be putting some stuff up though.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
I guess Pace being out had no effect on the RAMS.

That's a good point Gap, we didn't even notice that much he was out....interesting.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
If it had been close at the end, I really think the Rams could/would have up up 40+ points. (Because of the fake field goal punt etc.) Even with a healthy Romo, they're gunna have a hard time keeping up with Jackson and the Rams offense today.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Well can you blame them? We are just "lucky" in alot of people eyes, but most of us knew that we've always had talent. Talent was never an issue, the desire was. All I can say is what a difference a coach makes.

Well Action Jackson already had a strained groing, and it looked as if he injured it again on a run to the left side with 6 minutes or so left in the game. He limped to the sideline, and the trainers started working on him. They unzipped his pants and had him walk to the locker room with his pants aroudn his hips (I have never seen anything like that before in my life). A few weeks ago he said it was no big deal, we'll just have to see how it looks this week.

Re: Excuses, excuses, EXCUSES!!
Teams will throw excuses at us all season long when we beat them. We're just not a good team to the world.
We just beat the two hardest teams on our schedule by the way...
