Shepherd: we know they want rid of

Watson: deserves his chance and doesn't get playing time behind Faulk & Canidate

Fields: is a cap casualty, getting paid too much to be a back up

Allen: hasn't hung around long for a 3rd round pick

TUCKER , well there's a surprise , I know he is getting paid big bucks after they matched the Dolphins offer and probably too much for a back up if Rod Jones is pencilled in at starter. But he has done well for the Rams and I'd like to see him back

With free agency the expansion draft probably doesn't have the impact it used to when it was the only source for an expansion team to stock itself with veteran players.

I wonder if the Texans will draft Tucker and Fields. I've liked Justin Watson and he may be one of the bargains and sleepers of the expansion draft.

I guess the figuring is go with Tommy Polley and Rod Jones and free up some cap room, though I too was a little surprised to see Tucker left unprotected.
