Re: Expect a BIG time deal for Rams?

This is why I come to this site each morning. The "nature abhores a vaccum" thing. Like in '99 some marvelously miraculous pieces came our way and made my sporting life worth a damn. I'll be here when it happens again. And when lightning strikes again we'll know just when it happened (but not without some lengthy debate and so on and so forth).

Maybe these guys can get er done.

    Otherwise, I shall remain...

    The break, don't bend offense.

I agree, he knows when to go down.

I would love for Victor Cruz to be on the Rams, I just wouldn't want to give up a 1st rounder AND sign him to a huge contract.

I'm really expecting something nice, maybe I should dial it down. This will probably end up being someone like Jared Cook. But, I would love to see Jared Cook, Phillip Wheeler, and a S or two. I can't wait for 4 to finally come around!!

Maybe the big time deal is a trade for Revis. With all the WR talent in the NFC West, maybe this is how the Rams plan on neutralizing that.

I wish. I'd give up either of our firsts and I'd give him the massive deal he wants with no issues. Revis changes the way you play. He easily cancels out Crabtree/Harvin/Fitzgerald for 6 games. We'd have the best secondary in the league, and arguably would only need a solid SS because Revis rarely needs a S on his side.

Plus, the news is the Jets have a solid offer on the table, we'll see if it's us.

He and Sherman have a huge war going on, which would be fun to watch in the same division. Still, I'd rather not. His salary is way too high, and we are good with Jenkins/Finnegan/Johnson I think.

Absolutely! They didn't free up all the that cap money in the last few days to spend it on Fatburgers .. J.G. or J.L.? Maybe both? The latter is probably pushing it ..

You'd probably have Revis asking to play WR to show Sherman up. Didn't he claim to be like the 2nd or 3rd best receiver on the Jets at one point? Or am I thinking of someone else?

You're thinking of Antonio Cromartie haha. I would love to see it though. That would be a massive rivalry, and the days leading up to Sunday would be sooooo enjoyable.

sosa is correct it was A. Cro! He even lined up at wideout for a few downs when the Jets had so many recievers down and out with injuries etc... He was not great at it though imho, but he sure looks like he would be with enough practice perhaps!
